I saw this way back when I was about 15 or so and have looking for it ever since .
This is a great clip on the JPN Team as well as a privateer at the 73 IOM TT.
Great video even though the quality may seem a little off.
Thrash 'em Motorcycles was created while starting restoration work on a 1968 BSA B25 Starfire. I've always loved British motorcycles and now have the chance to keep the Starfire and a recently acquired BSA B44 Victor Special in need of restoration on the road.
Great old clips of 'back in the day'. Probably not a whole lot of Engineer/riders these days, like Peter.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and a Happy New Years to you and yours out Texas way. Stay warm and dry if that's possible. Give your Beezer a pat on the headlight for me...
Think your right there Larry...Peter and Percy Tait are the ones that come to mind as well as Pat Slinn.
ReplyDeleteHe was an Developmental Engineer with BSA and also did ISDT, some road tests, etc for BSA as well as being Mike Hailwoods race mechanic on the TT Ducati that he rode!
Thanks for finding and sharing the clip. I think I remember 1973.
