New digs

In the next couple of days Thrash 'em Motorcycles will be relocating to a new location.

This is good for Bodger for a few reasons: First, travel to the Postal salt mines has been halved from 30 miles to 15 miles one way (saves on gas usage), Second, has a nice attached garage with.....wait for it.... a built-in workbench and some storage cabinets, Third, a nice little covered patio for relaxing with some palm trees for shade and finally, due to personal circumstances changing.

There are trade offs to this relocation....namely....the fact that ne'er-do-wells will know aboot the contents of new workshop/shed along with any other toys Bodger may have. Plus little sprogs asking the usual questions..."Hey Mister, woddle it do", "How fast you been on it" or "Wot kinda motorcycle is BSA?"

But this will be a good thing all in all. More at a later date.

  1. Hmmmm, new premisies eh, reckon you'll have piles and piles of boxes cluttering up the place after you move in, for about a year....or ten...hehe...hope it goes smoothly for ya.

  3. A bench and cabinets done, that saves a lot of work. My work commute is right at 15 miles one way, which is tolerable. Like you, I drive a lot on the job, and the last thing I want is a long commute home...and the gas costs involved. Good luck with the new place.

  4. Sounds like good place you've got sorted out, get the sounds in the garage, a cool beer and work away on the bikes.....

  5. The bench and cabinets are a plus, though it's only a rental....still, can't beat it with a stick.

Sounds and cold NBA are in the works.

If I can find the camera, pics will be up, though I think it might've gotten lost.
