A close call

This was on BikerPost on Faceache and judging by the title, it could very well be here in sunny south Texas, land of idiot drivers.

Hopefully the cut-n-paste thing worked here, if not check it out yerselves.

  1. Pucker up! That was far too close for comfort.

I bet you more than half the folk you know who ride have had a similar, if not quite so dramatic, escape.

  2. An update......apparently this did happen here in San Antonio a couple of days ago.

The rider saw what was happening it seems and went into getouttahere fast mode just at the right second instead of panicking.

That road has a good rep for people getting into accidents through speeding or whatever cause.

Doesn't help that drivers in the area are idiots pure and simple.

  3. The linky...no linky, but did go to the site and saw a lot of vids...but couldn't find the one you referenced. I'll have to go back and try again. Put a couple Victor pics up for you Bodger, from the Santa Clara show. This might make you feel good about yours, saw an unrestored Victor up for sale at $4,400...don't know if he got it. Man, don't know if you have run into the new blogger interface or whatever it is called...I mistakenly pushed a button, and evidently there is no turning back. Having to re-learn the whole thing again. Not happy. How's weather in Texas? Rain and snow out here, think winter finally arrived.

  4. I feel like I'm banging my head against a wall sometimes Larry when it comes to posting links or whatever on here.

I do the cut-n-paste thing and the links don't show up as a link, just an address; I'm thinking that possibly Blogger changes/improves things and gets things screwed up. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Guess I'll just have to play around with it 'til I get it figgered out!
